GreaseWeazle 5.25in External Drive / Chassis Kit.

This kit comes with everything you need. When we have 5.25 in drives in stock you will be able to request a fully assembled drive or you can order the kit without the drive.

Attribute Descriptions:

Board refers to what board you want included and installed into the chassis.
Assembly is for when we assemble a unit for you, if you do not select a drive you will be expected to ship a drive to us when you ask us to assemble it.
Drive means what drive we will include

Already have a 5.25in Floppy drive but need a chassis? This is the perfect kit to build an external drive. It will come with everything you need except the USB cable.

Optional Service: We can assemble a GreaseWeazle 5.25 in drive for you. For this purpose you will need to send us a 5.25in drive. We will fully assemble it and test it, during testing if there are any issues we will report this issue to you during testing/assembly.

Convenient hole for a USB cable and additional power required by the 5.25in drive. The chassis has stands to hold the GreaseWeazle v4 board as well as notched stands to hold a floppy drive without the need for internal screws. External screws can be used to fasten the chassis to the floppy drive.

What is included:

Stylish 3D printed two-part chassis.
External power supply to the Floppy drive. This GreaseWeazle DOES NOT supply v12 voltage because of this an external power supply is provided.
All internal cables: Floppy Power, 34-pin Floppy cable, Purple Power LED (plugs into 5 volt and Ground).

What is NOT included:

5.25in Floppy Disk Drive is not included with kits but can be added
